Deconstructed garden, installation,
pictures printed on linen, fake grass, stones, fake flowers, bricks, painting and sheets on a string, 2019

This installation is a study on the feeling of reality.
Can images or artificial replicas catch the essence of what constitutes a landscape?
The scene is static, a fake grass carpet leading to a piedestal with more simulated grass; on which lay two stones, like a memorial celebrating another state of that same grass-carpet. All references to a real state of things have been lost since, even the hanging image of a bunch of flowers is nothing but shadows. A stage for poor simulacrum.
